Android Central Question

Ps help.!!
7 pro 8gb is available at my place and 12 gig variant will be available on 25 onwards , should i wait for 12gigs ??

12 gigs vs 8 gigs ...
how much difference does it make..

Bragging rights? lol 8 GB should be more than enough. 12 is Overkill. You may even get slightly better battery life with the 8GB version.

Yeah at this point there isn't really any reason to have over 8GBs, or really over 6GBs, I think you could open up 200 apps and it would still run fine with around 6GBs. So it's really just bragging rights.

I have a 6T McLaren which have, as everybody knows, 10GB of RAM.

Well, in a day to day use it doesn't make any difference at all. But, comparing with a 6GB device, my 6T keeps apps open in background for way more time, and I absolutely never see any flaws or lags at all. And a device with more RAM tend to be more time-proof too, if that's your intention.

My opinion.

I had the 6t 8gb version and I was always around 3 to 4gb in memory so I think 8gb is fine. I'm rocking the 256gb 12gb ram model 7 pro now but that's because I'm stupid with money lol. For an extra $50 I said to myself why not future proof. But most ppl will be fine with 8gb.

I agree with Golfdriver97 , get the 8gb ram I have that on my 1+6 never issues and the extra money get a case and glass screen protector.

The price difference (at least in the USA) was so small, it was a no-brainer.

If you are planning to keep the phone for long time then I would agree go for the 12 GB model since it's only $50 more. But if you are like me who can't even keep the phone for few months or going to buy the next OnePlus as well then no point in getting the 12 GB model
