OnePus X Wont Recogise SD Card

I just got my OnePlus X and I have taken out the 64GB Micro SD Card from my Z1C and popped it in and i get Preparing SD Card - Checking for errors.

The it stops it wont pick up the SD card. I've put it in my computer and formatted it with exfat file type and the same thing happens.

How do I make it work?

Welcome to Android Central! Was it in FAT32 to begin with? If not, format it to FAT32, which is the most universally compatible filesystem for Android. Not all devices recognize exFAT.

Hi. I got a progam to format it fat 32. Now the preparing sd card notification goes away but my phone still doesn't recognize it. I know its working as I took it out another phone it was in and it worked fine.

What do I do now? Reset my phone?

So I've just done a factory reset and it still isnt picking the SD Card up

Oh wait now when I plug the phone into my PC it picks it up but the phone cant see it

That's odd. So when you connect via USB and the SD card is in the phone, you can see the SD card listed in Windows Explorer? But if you go to Settings>Storage on your phone, it doesn't show up at all? Is there a Mount SD Card or Unmount button visible?

That is correct. My phone cant see the SD card but windows can. Now I've just tried adding music to the SD card from my Windows PC and it wont do it, it says the device is busy and it cant copy it.

This is really pi**ing me off. All I want to do is put music on and sd card why wont it work?

I'm starting to think that the problem is a defective or corrupt card. Can you try a different card?
