I'll keep this thread simple. To whoever has the update, how is the performance and stability on OneUI 2.0?

Are animations still slightly janky? Do things crash, is battery performance okay?

Since this is the final major update, I'm hoping they can iron out the kinks from OneUI 1.0. Overall not bad, but not what I'd expect given the power of the Note 9.

For me battery life is slightly better. Was best on Android Oreo but this is still better than Android Pie. No crashes. SOT of about 8 hours. I've had Android 10 for about a week.

Did you clear device cache or do a factory reset after the update?

I have an unlock Note 9, still waiting on update, would not allow me to run beta, either. Using T-Mobile.

For me the performance just isnt that great.

I still get some jankyness and apps are still slow to load. I find myself doing close all and device optimization more often than before the beta.

Battery life seems fine.

GPS still doesnt work with waze or maps. Sometimes I can trick it to working by toggling the data and location on and off but it will not always work.

There are also some random small things like sometimes the keyboard just stops working. No rhyme or reason why. Sometimes the web browser will get hung.

Really hoping they fix these issues when the final build comes out.

@RadeonHD I sure wish you would have made this thread for the official build, only.

You're right, should have specified final build as this is the last major update for this phone.

(Which sucks because this beast is more than capable of going another 3 years minimum) 😣🙁

You could edit you thread title and original post.
Some forums do not allow edit of the thread title.
I plan on using it that long.
I chose the 8 / 512 version for that reason.
Mine is actually still on Oreo. I didn't want any of the "features" of Pie and I believe that phones operate best on the OS that originally came on it.
