"Ongoing notification" black on black issue

I have done some google searching and haven't found anything. I love having a black notification panel, but am seriously considering making it white if I can't fix this. It happens with anything "ongoing" (music, downloads, uploads) does anyone know how to fix this?

Looks like a theme issue
Only themes can change the notification's text color and font.

some users here might show you how to edit your theme. or maybe you can try UOT. I havent tried the cm7 theme uploader / editor option but you can have a try. Try to go for a color that is both visible on black and white .. like the ICS cyan color

I had the same exact issue. I'm on BACKside but I ran the same theme on Harmonia too.
If you go and find the xda link where the theme came from, there's a fix for that on there. I'll look for it in a bit and edit it in here.

But to apply the fix you have to edit the xml into the framework-res.apk of your ROM. I attempted to do it and screwed it over, lol.
anthonycr actually ended up doing it for me, and now everything works flawlessly.

Yea that's the theme. I accidentally did that on my first UOT theme. Just make ur own and color things how u want

Thank you guys. I'll give the link a try. I used uot to make the theme, and made notification text white, and it is for text messages and anything else thats just a "notification" but anything "ongoing" is blackblack

I believe that since the theme is CM7 specific, the fix would be as well.
