Only Connecting as a Camera?

For the past few days whenever I connect my s4 to my laptop it only shows up as a camera, even when "connected as a media device". It will connect as an installer but when I select MTP it shows up as a camera. I've tried restarting and everything else but it won't let me access any of my files through the computer. I've Googled it a few times but I haven't found any answers. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated!
