Hey everyone,

I am hoping someone can help me with my issue, I currently do not receive any social networking notifications, unless I'm in a wifi area. I've checked numerous settings, but I can't seem to figure out why this is happening. Could it be juice defender ultimate? or some other app I have installed?

Any help is much appreciated. Thanks.

That's odd, this usually happens on a restricted WiFi (where for some reason the ports and protocols used for these notifications are blocked...usually work networks). So, obviously, your carrier could be having issues with these, but then everyone in your carrier and in your area should have the same issue.

Another thing that you could check is if you restricted the social apps' background activity to WiFi to save on mobile data. If so, only when you open the app you will it be allowed to use mobile data, but not in the background.

It's definitely not the carrier as my wife has the same phone, same carrier, and she will get her notifications anytime. I've checked the restricted data settings, Twitter, FB and Instagram are all allowed to use background data. It is very odd, and frustrating.
