Open Beta 3 for Oneplus 6 & 6T

OnePlus have just started the Open Beta 3 roll out for Android 10 OTA for the OnePlus 6 & 6T to test new features and fixes that may or may not, come to future firmware updates. You will only receive this test firmware OTA if you are already on their Open Beta releases.

• Added the notch display options under Settings>Display>Notch display>Hide the notch area
• Updated the GMS package
• Updated Android security patch to 2019.11
• Improved system stability and general bug fixes

OnePlus Care (India only)

• Sign up to get rewards, premium experience and exclusive offers

Android Security patch = November 2019

Camera version = 3.8.89

This is the 20th Open Beta release for the 6T in 338 days = 1 update, on average, every 17 days.

(N.B. Open Beta is NOT available for the T-Mobile (USA) carrier minority variant firmware)

You can download the FULL Open Beta updates using the Oxygen Updater, free from the Play Store.

Alternatively, you can download the FULL firmware and install via Local Upgrade...

Tell me about it. Am having to do a completely fresh install as I tried to flash this Open Beta in TWRP and ended up with full encryption.

I hope not, for your sake, as India has a lot of, "bloatware", add-on's.

Nope, but that "cloud service" is there. Mauronofrio said it's because he has to figure out a way to get twrp to ignore some ridiculous partition that was added. It cause zero problems it just shows you that one feature that isn't available in most of the world. No bloatware apps added
