Opening the Samsung Edge Panel Triggers a Notification Sound (Seems Like a Bug)?

Hello,

I have an annoying problem with my new Samsung A52 5G phone. It is running Android 11 and One UI 3.1.

Each time I open the Edge Panel a sound chimes and a Notification is briefly displayed as "Edge Panels is Running Tap for More Information".

I rely on Edge Panel a lot and obviously do not need a Notification each time I open it.

I have found little information on this and for the few I did find with the problem the usual settings changes one thinks of won't work (options are grayed out).

It seems this is likely a bug but there is not information on it?

Solved - Opening the Samsung Edge Panel Triggers a Notification Sound (Seems Like a Bug)?

To stop the Edge Panel Notification and it's Sound. Simply Turn Off Edge Panel Lighting option in the Edge Panel app (tap the Notification when it appears to get to the settings).
