Opening Verizon V10 Hidden Menu

Finally figured this out and haven't seen anyone post this exact method so I wanted to share it for anyone trying to figure it out too.

Sorry if it's posted before but I couldn't find it.

I'm not sure how useful it is or what can be done with it yet but here you go. There is another menu I'm still trying to open but haven't worked it out yet.

Open Dialer.
Enter ##7764726990 then press call.
Service code box will pop up.
Enter 000000
Now the Verizon hidden menu will pop up.

I haven't played around with anything so be careful with what you do. I'm pretty sure it will only work with Verizon. I hope it'll help someone. Good luck.

Doesn't work for me. I get a recording that says there are restrictions and it can't proceed.

Curious... what's in it? Is there any way to set txt message file attachments so they can be sent/received over wifi data ? (my only real complaint with verizon)

Are you sure you entered it correctly? It works every time for me. Make sure you put both ##.

And basically you are just spelling out "program" with Verizon's v10 model number behind it "990".

Type "##program990" which is "##7764726990" into dialer and hit send. Then follow the rest in op. Is your phone modified or unlocked in any way? Not sure why it wouldn't work... Also I don't think what your looking for is in there. Wish I could help you. Good luck.

Also found another one that works and I'm not sure if it's been talked about. It opens a service menu so again be careful with what you click on or do with it.

Open Dialer.
Type "##228378" and press call.

As far as I know these will only work on Verizon's LG v10.

I'm still working on getting the rest of the verizon hidden menu opened up since they love to make everything difficult. There should be band settings, apn settings, maybe a possible apn editor, lte configurations, Fota settings, data settings, network settings, vowifi, etc. They are definitely there but may take time figuring out how to access them.

***I use Verizon Message+ and always send text/mms/attachments over wifi. Now if I use Textra or another message app, must use the data.

These options are for diagnostics. The hidden menus users are looking for are for call blocking, KnockOn settings, etc. I found the app to bring up the hidden menu and disable the KnockOn feature, the day I got the phone. https://forums.androidcentral.com/e...24.android.quickshortcut&hl=en&token=GGFd7gWL

I'm going to review this app again, to see if other menus can be brought out of hiding.

You can access themes with a Verizon v10 anytime you want. Let me help you.

Open Google Play Store
Download app "Any Shortcut"

Open the Any Shortcut app and enter the following details.

Application : com.lge.launcher2

Activity : com.lge.launcher2.theme.LGThemeChooserActivity

Action: [Keep blank]
Intent : [Keep blank]

After entering the above information press Create. Now there will be a shortcut on your home screen. Click it to open the theme window that Verizon hidden from the phone.

Now go to LGs website and download LG Smartworld manually.
Smart World | LG Global

Then you'll have to find it in your download folder on your phone after it's downloaded and click it and install it manually. Its easy.

After installed open LG Smartworld and download whatever themes you would like and install them.

After theme is installed go back and click the shortcut you made on your home screen and the themes you just downloaded and installed will be there. Now apply any theme. Have fun. If you need any help let me know and I'll do my best to help and will try to check this site regularly.

It won't let me click install. I can click cancel, but not install.

My phone is set to allow installs from outside sources
