Opera 5 Mini Question

How do you delete the other unwanted icons from the start menu. I obviously know how to add them but there is no menu option and in the settings it has the bookmarks but thats separate from the start page apparently because i have no bookmarks listed. If you hold the icon down it doesnt do anything either. Any ideas?

go the speed dial page under saved pages. not the preferences menu
