Opera Mobile Browser Refresh

Saw one 2010 post about a similar issue, no real advise though.

Question is:
Is there any way to prevent my browser (currently Opera Mobile, not sure of the version- the latest one in the market) from refreshing when multitasking? If I'm loading or have fully loaded a web page, and switch to messaging to respond to a text, when I switch back the browser automatically starts to reload the page.

Any information on how to alter this setting?

Currently running an Epic 4g with SCrAMbLED EGgs22 Rom.
