Opinions please...apex 1.31 - upgrade path?

Running apex 1.31 without any major issues here. I'd like to get on GB but not sure what the best path is. Should I go back to my nandroid bu and OTA to the official gb then reroot to whatever or is there a way to upgrade to a newer rom'd gb that's out there wo going back to 340 first?

Been so long since I messed with apex I'm not even sure how to go about flashing back to stock with my nandroid bu...

honestly, the easiest method is to sbf back to 2.3.340, root it using z4root, install the droid 2 (yes, droid 2) bootstrap app, and use the two part update method (unless you want the OTA, of course, in which case you could just pull it after sbf'ing). i was on apex 1.4, and this is the path that i took. used titanium to backup and restore all my apps. took about 20-30 mins all told to do everything
