I have to reiterate that the lack of ois is becoming a real negative and the only one thing thus phone falls short on.
Pictures often come out very blurry. Do you guys have a solution for this? I end up having to take multiple photos just to make sure one of them will be clear.
Does "clear shot" or "steady shot" solve this issue? Or does it trade in other qualities just to get something more in focus? What are those two differences anyway?
Any other suggestions?
OIS is good, but not magical. I had a HTC One M7 before my OPO and the OIS wasn't that big a deal. The iPhones take great pictures, and just now they get OIS in the 6 plus.
This moon shot was taken hovering my OPO over my cheap telescope's eyepiece, trust me there was a lot of movement and shaking when I snapped this.
The key to good low light pictures is to steady your phone with an object and use a 3 second timer so the phone doesn't shake when you press the screen to take the picture. Patience is better than OIS.
