How do I keep this on?
Every time I close the app and open it again it shows everything in the off position!

Do you have any specific power-saving modes turned on, or a 3rd party power-saving app installed?

Phone is stock, operating it just like it came out of the box! This is my 3rd note 5 and it has done the same thing on the other 2 also! I tried it when I first got the phone turned on and operating before I downloaded all my apps and installed my email clients.

Ok, but maybe a power-saving mode is on by default out of the box. Can you confirm that power-saving is turned off?

I am in same situation, seem like Setting>Battery>App Power Saving, and Setting>Battery>Battery Usage>Optimize Battery Usage,
both function seems redundant. I uninstall other battery app (GSM), but that doesn't seem to be the problem.

Hmm, I'm kinda stumped here. Is this a carrier-specific Note5, and if so, which one? Carrier-specific phones could have carrier-installed bloat that might mess around with these kinds of settings.

I went through the same with the carrier tech as many months ago I noticed the same thing... once enabled, the settings would disable themselves.

To this day, even with the warranty replacement phone, same enabling... then disabling happens.

The carrier... Verizon.

Check any of the preinstalled Verizon-branded apps (like "My Verizon") and see if there are any settings there that might be related.

My fd says LG is best at Software/Feature, and Samsung best at marketing.
I think it is coming true... sadly.
