Ok so Im running DM1.0 and over clocked right now to 1.0GHz for the max and 600 for the Min Now on various screen shots I've seen floks running there min at 250 MHz. Am I doing this wrong. I can run all the way to 1.3 but I don't feel the need mine runs great at 1.0

I found that 1.0 was nice and snappy, as well as stable, however when I used things like navigation or google earth it got pretty hot, navigation is especially an issue, since its right next to the windshield for me and I live in Phoenix, AZ. I reigned it back in to 800 personally. Hope this helps a little.

DM 1.0 - 800 MHz

A quick note, I didn't notice this when I first read your post, but there's no reason to have your minimum speed set to 600, this means it will never go below that even when idle, setting the max to whatever ensures that it will get that kind of speed when the phone needs it (assuming you're using the "on demand" profile - anything higher than 250 for the min and you're really sacrificing battery life and getting added heat for no real benefit.

I don't have this issue, but if you do, experiment with it a little - if there's a noticeable difference, it wouldn't hurt to push it a little further.

I've found setting the max/min to 600/250 under the Standby/Sleep profile solves the delayed wake up when a call comes in and doesn't seem to affect battery life, allowing me to leave the main clock setting at 800MHz/250MHz for good battery life.

Nothing new, my profiles are also all 600/250 with the main at 1000/250. I've been toying with the battery life tho and 1.0 sees me thru the work day. But I end up needing a charge when I get home. May drop to 800

This is my personal user experience so far. From a noob stand point mind you...

At first when i overclocked, I kept it running at what most of you are running right now. 800mhz-1ghz max with 250mhz min. Mostly cause i wanted to see how the phone was gonna react to it, and to see how battery life was gonna be at 1ghz.

I was also running the sleep/standby and charging profiles. I had my sleep/standby profile set to 600mhz max 250mhz min, and my charging profile set to 800mhz max 250mhz min.

Well after the first day of using that setup, i noticed the phone still seemed to lag every now and again. Twas rare...but it was still there. So i said screw it, and i decided the ramp up the min to the same as the max. So i was running 1ghz max 1ghz min.

I was a little scared at first, but its actually running fine. Great in fact...

My current setting are:
1ghz max/1ghz min
Charging-1ghz max/800mhz min
Sleep/standby-600mhz max/250 min

I haven't noticed any drop in battery life or excess heat like some of you are saying while in sleep mode. In fact, i get pretty much the SAME EXACT battery life as i did before i overclocked. The difference is minor, and i still will use the phone the same amount as i normally do in a day.

So i mean...thats just my experience so far. Im no tech nerd when it comes to overclocking.

interesting... I may have to try that out. although i have seen my battery life decreased since oc'ing to 1ghz (today i'm dropping back to 800 to see the results). your story kinda reminds me of the N1 OC article i saw the other day. 9GHz/9GHz. now i'm sure that guy saw battery and heat effects

9GHz. I don't believe it for a nanosecond. That must be a typo. Link, please.

Last night I set mine to 1ghz/200, with all profiles at 600/250. Phone came out of the cradle 8.5 hours ago and battery just dropped to 70%.
Usage is:
Display 41%
Voice calls 29%
Cell Standby 19%
Phone Idle 12%
I did do a little web surfing, but not much.

I'm using the power control widget to the middle setting which is probably about 40%.
Phone has been out of the phone for 16.5 hours now and the battery is still showing 60%

I'm jealous I barely last 7 hours on a charge then again I'm constantly on my phone so its not that bad
