Optimus or XPRT?

I'm currently on SERO, but I think I'm going to take the plunge to SERO-p since it doesn't look like Sprint will be releasing any more good 3g phones. Optimus or XPRT?

Optimus is older tech, but has a stronger dev community.

XPRT has better hardware (and I prefer the layout), but has near zero dev.

Which do you prefer and why?

I have two optimus's on my account and they are great. I love the keyboard on the XPRT(previous BB user) but don't care for the screen resolution. Think the optimus is much better. And of course the optimus is very hack friendly(it has gotten me addicted to android )
