I have this sweet new ROM I downloaded last night, and I'm stuck between going the route of installing GingerKernel, and using SETCPU, or using the colin_ph Battery Tweak..... any pros out there with some advice? I want a fast Optimus, But not a buggy one that reboots and hangs. Any advice would be wicked. Thanks all :)

Specs:
Custom Battery @ 5100 mAh 3.7 VDC L-Ion (will post a thread later on this, mind = blown)
Xionia 1.2518.6 Custom Recovery Console
gROM 2.3.3 with GingerKernel flashed for OC'ing

.........currently hanging up @ 40% battery @ 806 MHz w/ SetCPU.

I want more than 748. Plain and Simple. :(

im noticing that.... the screens real buggy and wacks out and randomly selects stuff when i try to scroll or type. how would i go about reverting to Reborn ROM 2.2.3? or is there a more recommended path you or someone else may know of?

Wait for the next gROM and stick with the current one till then. I i'm sure you won't be disappointed

i just dont know if i can deal with tourettes screen mode due to my dumb @$$ flashing gingerkernel. :/

will the next release of gROM be OC'd? and less skittish?

essentially what i want to do is either go back to 2.2 and use Reborn or some other ROM. or resolve this edginess of the 2.3.3 ROM. any ideas out there?

again i have xionia 1.2518.6 and gROM 2.3.3 with gingerkernel..... how do i remove gingerkernel to start with?? id LOVE it if someone had that info.

Yes, gROM includes its own kernel/boot.img, so dirty flash will replace the one GingerKernel put in place.

Thank you both so much for your help :) Runs like clockwork now. with a few rusty gears but thats expected of a fresh ROM, I can't wait for the next in the gROM lineup to appear. :)

What do i mean? well whe i can post a thread with a picture, i'd love to show you. someone posted a review regarding the 3600 mAh extended optimus battery from china, well i got ghetto clever and decided to take that battery and hotwire the two lithium packs it has to the stock optimus S battery and its control board. so the battery still is recognized as the stock 1500 mAh but it totals in excess of 5000 mAh. i cant put a BACK* on the phone, but scotch tape helped a load. ;) if you dont mind a 3/4 inch protrusion from your phones back then this mod is excellent for you overclockers and power users. I can get 40 hours of off and on heavy usage of the phone, from netflix, to music, to texting, to youtube to 4 hour phone calls. i can show you all how to make one if you're interested. it does take away from the aesthetic appeal of the phone. for sure.

It really is man. I get epic battery life, and stock charger only take an hour and a half longer to charge the battery.
