Optimus S on T-Mobile network

I'm cancelling my service with Sprint due to poor service in a new area I moved to. I have 2 Optimus-S and 1 Nexus-S phones. I want to subscribe to T-Mobile monthly since the signal is excellent here.

Is this doable without too much hassle? If not, what are my inexpensive options?

Impossible for those phones. CDMA vs GSM.

I think people mentioned T-Mo has some decent phones for free, but probably depends on promotions at the time.

If you want to stick with the Optimus line, the Optimus T should be a good choice.

As sfhub mentioned, the Optimus S is 100% incompatible with T-Mo's GSM network.
