Optimus T cant see Wifi signal put out by another phone

I have a Touch Pro 2 and I use a software to put out Wifi signal.

My laptop can connect to this phone with no problem and get on the internet.

But my Optimus T does not see this Wifi signal. I did a scan and nothing shows up. I even manually add in the SSD and it doesnt work either. I have drop the WEP and that didnt work either.

Why is that the Optimus T does not see this Wifi signal and how to get it to work?
