optimus T no ota

i have had my optimus T since nov 3 and yet i hat not gotten any ota update, and when i try to update in the settings on the phone it says "connection failed due to authentication error" when i try the online lg update tool it says that my V10H is the current version though the current version is acutally V10I... i won the phone on a android community contest so tmobile wont help me out though it was sent to me directly from Tmobile and Lg arnt being much help as well... so please if anyone out there can help me out that would be much appreciated overall it works perfect got the new android market so im just trying to figure out why i aint getting the OTA Update.

I said to heck with the latest update.. it only brings Wifi Calling from what I have come to understand. I too was trying to get the OTA and nothing ever came in so I went ahead and started using the ThundeRom flash available here. My wifes phone on the other hand has been able to get updates and even got the new on-screen KB (darker looking one) which is really nice... I have yet to get it. Sorry for my rambling, but what I was getting at is ever her phone hasn't received the OTA and she's only rooted.

all i know is i just really want this update cause the signal in my apartment is horrible..

My wife had an OTA update on Saturday...

Upgraded son's line Saturday and used the LG Update Utility, included the Wifi calling without OTA. Used Z4Root after the update to root and remove the demos and Telenav.

Call T-mobile and ask for technical support. Give them your phone's IMEI. It is probably not in their system, so they don't know you have an Optimus to OTA. This happened to me and my wife. Her phone was updated, but I had to call and link my IMEI to my phone number as an Optimus.
