Optimus V $99 at Target B&M

I hear talk of the Optimus V for $99 at Target in-store without requiring activation like Best Buy does with their in-store sale. Can anyone confirm this? I think I might pick one up today since the slider just arrived at Virgin Mobile today for $179, and it seems to be too much a premium for such a minor upgrade.

The price of the slider went up to $199 already on the VM site (What was that, like within a couple of hours!). That did it. I just got back from Target and indeed the price is now $99 for the Optimus V for a limited time, so I bought one.; it will serve the purpose.

You'll notice prices will flex alot within VM brands.
I believe you made a good choice though.

I forgot the exact dates on the salestag at Target, but the $99 price for the OV is going on for a while (over a month).

target sale ends nov 5. you can get a raincheck which extends till 12/5 in the event they are sold out at your store. great deal, thanks for sharing! my mom just saved $50 on my xmas present.
