Optimus V Slimrom kernel

[AC Question]

I apologise in advance if this is a "dumb question" but I've been researching this for over a week now and I'm at my breaking point. WHAT kernel will make Slimrom (my file is called Slim-3.1-B4-SlimROM.TheJBC-20130101-2259-thekraven.zip) work on an LG Optimus V without constant reboots? It reboots to the LG logo, so I'm sure it's the kernel. I also tried using Bean_Whiz, following the directions given, and it reboots too. I'm just driven to tears over this and want a clear answer, please.
