I think my WINDOW is dirty!!!! But I will hope that it occurs and Google is polite enough to say - THIS IS THE OFFICIAL NON-WIPE release!!!!

It is pretty clear in that first posting that there is some opportunity to avoid a wipe. Yet, the newer post offers an update with WIPE!

Yup . You missed it. If you see the word final anywhere and you want out, jump on it! Or do like I did when I bought my pixel 6 and wanted out of the beta, bite the bullet and start fresh. Short term pain for long term gain. Part of being on beta's is you have to be willing to start fresh at anytime.

Key phrase,no guarantees. Community ROMs are likely to be fixed and stable sooner than official builds.

Having done Pixel Beta's in the past I wouldn't again because of (to me) significant issues. Samsung I won't be doing again because it's the same issues every beta.

Beta's are dirty flash over dirty flash in an endless loop and slapping stable on that isto me like stitching a wound without disinfecting first.

All loops back to your original phrase of willing to start fresh. To me that's a clean flash when stable is released. Not worth it anymore IMO. My days of flashing, rooting, etc.. are probably just over though. I like a fiddle-free experience these days.

Cheers to fiddle free user experience! My beta and ROM flashing days are also over. I just want my devices to work. I can wait however long for my system, app or whatever update.

I will wait till hell freezes over or I buy a new phone!!!! At my age, life's too short to wipe and restore!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
