Option to reset mobile number while 2 step verification for samsung account unavailable.

Android Central Question

I lost my phone number which was connected to samsung account so now when I try to login it asks me for OTP sent on mobile number which is no more with me. So after all this I did some research and found out that it has a option of resetting the number by providing IMEI and SN of phone on which it was first logged in but that option is not available for me. Why????

Welcome to Android Central! I'm wondering how this happened. So you no longer have the phone, and you also no longer have the phone number? Did you change phone numbers? Usually, if people change phones or even carriers, they keep the same phone number as before.

Do you have the box for your previous phone? That usually has a sticker with the IMEI and SN. Or do you have the invoice or receipt?
