Orange hue near edge of screen

I don't believe this is common in the years I've used Android and followed various forums, I've never heard about this being a problem with LCD screens. With the V20, all of a sudden people are bringing it up. That doesn't sound normal. That sounds like a problem with the V20 production based on the numbers we're hearing reported.

I have checked Google and it not isolated to the V20 or even just smart phones. Screen rentention is common to LCD. Screen burn in is associated with Amoled. The difference being burn in is usually more permanent. A lot has to do with how the screens are used.

And I have used my phone practically everyday I have had it, for 2 or more hours per day.

Using a phone a couple of hours phone every day is normally not an issue. The type of usage and brightness settings play a big factor.

Not usually ever above 30% brightness, only when I need to use it out in the sun (and yes, it is an issue, I have problems.)

I'm noticing that the screen retention shows up on when the area of the screen is a medium dark grey. It doesn't show on full white or full black. I'll shoot a video tonight.

It appears that way to me as well, though my secondary screen will show it whatever color it is on.
