order my self my 1st unlocked samsung S22 pluse smart phone today this is all so my 1st flag ship phone in a long time

a lot of of the time when i buy phone i get then from like verizon AT&T or T-mobile but not this time. This time i gotten me a smasung S22 pluse unlocked model this is all going to go nic with my samsung watch pro 5

i order my samsung S22 pluse from swappa for $499 brand new

i might get my self the samsung S23 pluse but i will wait tell later in the year when price lower or this wait tell may be the S24 pluse but for now the samsung S22 pluse will be my main phone

i have cricket wireless right now but am swiching over to perpaid

so that way i dont have any issues of waiting for software updates i here places like cricket are normal last to get software updates and you be waiting longer after the big guyd like AT&T verizon and T-mobile have gotten there

Hope you enjoy it! I think going unlocked is almost always the best option, so that you don't have to deal with the junk that the carriers preinstall on the phone. The main obstacle is price, since the upfront cost can be difficult for some, but if you can manage it, then it's a great choice.

I've had a few unlocked samsungs and pixels. Ended up getting an s22 ultra from Verizon bc I had 700 in gift cards for swapping over from att. I'll never get another carrier locked phone, the preloaded apps and the Start up screen has the carrier logo ?????? gonna trade this S22 ultra in for the s23 ultra when it gets released

thanks i used to have a carrier locked AT&T i think last year but got ride of it still have it S21 pluse case for it

but this time around i gotten me the unlocked phone samsung S22pluse

i might wait for the samsung S24 has i here that the S23 is not going to be much of a upgrade if any

Awesome. Congrats. Enjoy your S22+

On a side note, I also hate carrier phones. After T-Mobile pushed an update to my Note 9 in 2020 bundled with a T-Mobile specific app that screwed up my device pretty bad, I got rid of it and swore I'd never get another carrier locked phone again. And I haven't. Lol.

On a side note, somewhat related, what happens to the devices we send in to Google or Samsung for trade ins? Especially trading in a Samsung phone to Google?

hello all

i got my phone today and boy do i love it the nic thing is when you turn it on

1 no carrier splash screen on boot up you get the normal samsung logo at start up like other samsaung stuff

2 one thing i really love is you get the full splash screen on the whats new update from samsung

unlink with T-mobile AT&T and verizon it seems like they seem like they like to remove that and replace it with there own i no that verizon has there own update software update screen when new update are out and so dos AT&T

3 you have a nic X65 modem chip

on the side note dos any one no why the google play updated is stuck on july 1st useing samsung one UI 5.0
