ordered $209 Sandisk 200GB MicroSD from Amazon... will it work in my Verizon S5?

Amazon has been selling the new Sandisk 200GB MicroSD card for $249.99 for a while.

This morning, I noticed that it was only showing $209.99. (probably one of those Amazon pricing mistakes again) I immediately placed an order and used my MIL's address so no sale tax.(they live 4 miles away across the state line)

The order shows delivery on Thursday(Prime 2-day free shipping), but hasn't shipped yet.

Is it safe to assume that the 200GB card will work just fine in my Verizon S5? It currently has the same Sandisk card with 128GB capacity inside and works fine. I have it formatted in exFat because I keep several of Blu-ray originial *M2TS videos on the card(because I'm too lazy to convert them to MKV). Just wanted to make sure there's no barrier preventing 200GB cards from being recognized.

Well, it's a little too late to ask now that the card is on its way!!!

Put the card in your phone when it arrives, format it using the phone, then see what you have for free space! Come back and keep us all posted! Would be good to know!

got the card an hour ago. Amazon shipped it from a warehouse just an hour away from me, so it arrived the next day.

I formatted the card in the S5 and it worked perfectly! I then took the card out and put it in a card reader on my computer. I have already managed to fill it up completely. When is the 400gb MicroSDXC card going to be released?

Wow.... everyone has their own preferences, but there is no sane reason to fill a 200GB card on your phone. You're going to watch blu-ray rips on a 5" screen? A 720p mkv looks just as nice at 1/10 of the size... but again, to each their own.
