Ordered my G2x from T-Mobile Loyalty Department today!

My BlackBerry contract was expired so I gave the Loyalty Department a call. They were able to hook me up with the G2x for $249 (with a $50 MIR), and gave me free express shipping, waived the upgrade fee, and gave me the $20 Android data plan.

I can't wait... hopefully my phone ships soon!

I was about to order it online, but i'd prefer not to pay the upgrade and shipping fees.

+1 Loyalty/Retentions Dept.
They waived mail in rebate making it $199 instantly, waived $20 express shipping and gave me $120 credit to my account making G2x $80 for me =)

They also grandfathered my 1000 min/$39.99 and gave me Unlimited data (5gb) for $20. Just had to add unlimited text for $9.99.

I was in a unique situation having to do with the Sidekick plan being terminated.

Wirefly upgraded me to next-day shipping when I asked about the phone showing as "out of stock." They expedited my shipping, waiving the $20 fee. She didn't seem to know that the phone doesn't come out for a couple more days, as I was just wanting them to update my shipping info. Chatting with their rep might get me the phone a day quicker!

I really can't wait to get this phone, I'm using a work-provided Samsung Focus and I'm dying inside while using this thing for the past couple days. Anywho, WF gave me the phone for 149.99, with no activation fee. That's worth not being able to walk out of the store on the 20th with the phone, but hopefully it gets here quick!

Yup, I'm super cheap. Got a SidekickID because they were so inexpensive, and upgraded to LX09 only to grandfather my unlimited data rate. Honestly, I would have got the new sidekick if I could still pay 20 for data+text.

I figured I can get a deal out of Tmobile due to my situation, so why not go for a nice phone for a change. I have a silver tongue when it comes to getting a deal. Cheapassgamer.com and slickdeals.net regular =)
