Hey guys, I want to order a Nexus 4 (16GB) from the US marketplace so my parents can bring it to me here in Brasil during the first week of February. I know that the Nexus sold out very quickly...but I didn't realize they were having further issues with delivery, etc. If I want to receive my phone by the end of January, should I be rushing to put in my order now? Or will things clear up after Christmas?

Thanks for the help.

Edit:

P.S. I know this isn't the Nexus 10 forum, but I'm thinking of getting a Nexus 10 too (I'd like to move from iPhone/iPad to the Nexus family). Are there any delays related to the delivery of the Nexus tablets at all?

Nexus 4 8G is currently sold out. Nexus 4 16 Gb will take 5-6 weeks to deliver so you should order it now.
It only get worse after christmas. so best bet is now.

on the other hand nexus 10 take max one week to 10 days

Great, thanks!

If I ordered a couple more in a week or two, do you think it'd still be able to reach be delivered in time? I see some people saying they ordered their Nexus in Nov and still haven't gotten it, but then others who said they got theirs in 3 days. Is this a sign of delivery time improving or is it purely luck of the draw?

Seems like Google messed up shipping. It would not be a draw of luck, should be first come first serve. When people complained some CSRs respond by email saying that there is lot of misinformation on the web about shipping out of order.

Order now and it MIGHT get there. 5-6 Weeks for the 16GB means that it will be near the end of January. One big thing though is the fact that UPS might up and you'll get the Nexus 4 later than expected. You might also be those lucky (darn those people) people that get the nexus 4 almost right after they order :/
