I have a bv8000 pro and I formatted a list 128gb sd card as internal storage and it reads now that I have a 192 GB of storage. But the only button it has to choose default storage space is internal shared storage?? Is this because it is going to fill up the internal storage and then the SD card in a sequential manner or is it An error? Because I cannot figure out in the storage section how to choose the SD card as the default because it doesn't give me that option?? There is a little bit of the SD card used up but the vast majority is going to the internal storage original to the phone. Like I said it's reading the entire 192 GB available but I can't choose the SD card as my default storage. See the attached screenshot to see what I'm seeing.

It's working normally. When you use SDcard as internal memory, the phone will only show internal memory, you have no choice to select what storage to use. Also, once your 64GB of internal memory is full you will still have storage issues. See https://forums.androidcentral.com/a...ed-internal-but-not-functioning-internal.html
There's a lot of misunderstanding when it come to adoptable storage. It really isn't that good and is not a cure for low memory phones

Welcome to Android Central! Can you confirm that you saw two options for formatting -- as Internal Storage and as Portable Storage? I'm just wondering if the card was truly formatted as Internal Storage (and if the phone actually supports Adoptable Storage).
