Remember when you long pressed an app and it brought up the App Info option.

In Oreo - is that lost and gone forever (and her shoes were #9 )?
Maybe it's still available with Nova Launcher.

It's there on the S9. Not sure what your talking about. If you long press a icon you get additional options.

To be specific, a link to the app's properties within the App Manager.
I believe there's no longer a need to go to the app's property to force close it in Oreo.

Bumped.

I just googled this and I can't believe there were almost no results related to this.
I got used to clearing caches and change app settings individually on-the-go.
Now you have to open the settings menu and look for the app or type it in which takes more time since I know where they are located on my screen... any news on this? Is the APP INFO button gone for good or can it be enabled?
Why did they remove it in the first place...

I registered just to post this, lol.
My phone: Samsung Galaxy S9 (International, S960F)

Thanks.

You can power off ur phone. And on my s8 plus I press the power, Bixby, and volume up to get to the back door menu. From there you can clear the caches rather quickly and all at once.

I hope this helps.

Was indeed removed :( Instead, go to recent apps and long press the app title there. Little slower but it's the next best way.

*bump*

Any news on this? I used the feature all the time and the workarounds aren't really workarounds... The clear badge and app info options were SO helpful!! I'm on the S8+

I've heard they're still there on Nova launcher, but I'm not familiar with it
