I'm a little cautious of this but hopeful. I've been reviewing a Pixel 2 XL for a few weeks now and I absolutely love the subtle touches and updates in Oreo and can't wait to see it on my Note 8.

I'm secretly hoping this is the update us dual sim unbranded UK users might get same we've been absolutely left behind in security updates! bought and pre-ordered direct from Samsung and stuck on August Security patch?

This Reddit user claims to be a Samsung employee, I don't believe this leak was supposed to see the light of day. I'd be surprised if most of us see this update before March, every note I've owned has received the new update in that month.

Yep. I'm expecting March/April as well. We won't get it before the S9 release. I'd be shocked if that happens. Not worried about it anyway. My Note 8 runs great. I'm not in a hurry to get Oreo.
