Huh, don't know how to feel about that... The last major update didn't thrill me all that much.

They promised us this last Nov.....
So the message says check back in 3 weeks... that would make it May 18.
We shall see....
I still like this phone and design. My only complaint I have screen burn-in. First phone that has ever happened to.

My biggest complaint is the white. White freaking everywhere and despite the millions of us who want a dark theme, they refuse us.

I've just downloaded it. Unlocked in the UK. No obvious changes so far.

Since the last security update. My phone has been acting up. Rebooting, freezing.

Have you cleared you caches? That might help.

I lock up and reboot daily. I have many dropped calls as well. And if I try to redial, it will say " call failed no networks available".
No issues prior to the last update.
I usually do not keep my phones this long. But there is noting out there that interests me.

If I'm honest, I guess things are possibly a little more stable than on Nougat.

Much as I hate to say it, you might have to do a factory reset.

It's suggested on a major update to factory reset. Security updates you don't need to.

Hi, doing a factory reset isn't a big deal. I only backup to google.
Not Verizon. not Samsung.
Everything is restored easily.
I'm going to wait.... see how Oreo acts.

Although there is a new graphic.... saying we are next.

You may be onto something!! I'm in Pennsylvania on AT&T. I just checked for software updates... And, check it out... Not positive that this is Oreo... Fingers crossed.
