After my Oreo update, everytime when there is a bluetooth connection, we get a new icon on the notification bar. If you swipe down, you can see what device it's connected to, and you can switch between that device and your local phone. Well, now when I turn on my car, the bluetooth connects automatically and plays music in my car which is good. However, after a few seconds (or a couple of minutes), it would automatically switch to my local phone. I would then have to go into my phone (while driving) and manually switch it back to my car. Is this a bug? If not, how do I set it to keep it connected to my car?

I would delete all saved Bluetooth paired devices on the phone and re-pair them back.

You may have tried this but.....check the Cadillac web site and see if there is a firmware update for your car system? I don't know what year your vehicle is and there might be an update. Also check any forums or blogs that might exist for your vehicle, there may be others experiencing the same problem. I don't really know much about GM's infotainment setups. Sorry!

BTW on my Dodge Uconnect system I always get a prompt asking if I want to grant access after confirming a four digit code, make sure you select "Yes."
