Oreo update (sprint) - Favorite in texts keeps opening

Has anyone seen what I have happening? I have a favorite (at least that is my guess what it is) in my texts and it will just randomly open to text that person. I can be in a game, browser, etc. and it will randomly open. I have made sure it was not running in the background and rebooted my phone. Anyone else seen anything like this? Hopefully I am being clear. It is starting to get really annoying.
