organize gallery

Is there any way to organize the gallery? Rename albums? Move pictures around? Hide certain pictures?

You can do all of that with a file manager, like ES file explorer, root explorer, or astro.

To hide them using a file explorer just put a (.) in front of the directory name.

Also, if you decide upload your gallery to Picassa Web Albums/Google+ Photos or whatever the hell they end up deciding to call it, you can delete off of your device, and they will still show up on your nexus via sync. In Picassa Web Gallery, you can modify pretty much anything you want, and it will sync back to your device.

Not the most elegant, but it actually seems to work pretty seamlessly for me. I also use the Picassa 3 desktop app and also maintain sync through that, so I have 2 places where I can organize my photos.
