OS Upgrade for Pro

Will the Gingerbread OS be available for the Pro? Haven't seen any information on this subject.

hopefully it will, but at least until the source code is available, moto will probably remain mum on the subject. if i had to guess, i would think at least the X, droid 2, and Dpro will get the gingerbread upgrade, but that is nothing but pure speculation

I would say yes. The question is when.

The DROID series have been receiving upgrades much faster than other Android phones from Motorola (some of which just started getting 2.1).

Not as fast as Nexus One but not too slow if you ask me.

That being said, if you look for speedy upgrades, don't get Motorola phones.

The Nexus One is the best and the other phones supported by the modding community are the second.
