I am trying to get 7.1.1 on my Pixel phone purchased from an authorized Verizon retailer. This morning, I clicked check for updates and it had an update available. It got to step 2 of 2 installing update and froze for an hour or so. I reset the phone and went back into check for updates where it began to download the update again. But before finishing the download, it just disappeared and no shows phone is up to date on 7.1 with no update available anymore. No no matter what I do, I can't get the OTA update to come back. Even tried a factory reset and that didn't work.

It wouldn't be the first time they pulled an update due to issues. Maybe thats the case. Give it a few days and see if it shows up again.

Just curious, are you using Verizon service?

the 7.1.1 update appeared in my tray 12/7, but I was away from the wifi. This AM, 12/8, it was gone without a trace. My Pixel XL is on 7.1 with a security patch level of 11/5. I'm using Google Fi.

Had this exact issue as the OP described. T-Mobile bought via Google Store, no issues with WiFi or connectivity. Haven't gotten the notification in a couple of days :-(

My update was stuck on step 2 of 2 for an hour. I thought it was frozen, but it finally completed and I rebooted.
