OTA Froyo?

Has anyone gotten their update pushed to them yet?

i haven't heard of many people that actually received the OTA. most of the forum members just forced theirs.

does anybody know if the OTA vs. 2.2 from here (http://www.androidcentral.com/froyo-droid-has-arrived-heres-how-get-it-without-waiting-froyogeddon) is going to be any different?

Or should I just wait till 2.2 is official from Verizon and wait for 2.2, I have no problem waiting. Thanks!

The forced update should be the same as the OTA. It's hard to tell the source of the one you linked. However, some of the forced update files have the link directly to Google's servers, so you can be sure it is legit.

The files are the same, both are digitally signed. If they weren't you would not be able to install them on a non rooted phone.
