OTA software update

Whenever i try to do the ota update on my droid 2, it gets a little over half done and it says" update failed". Has anyone seen this before or is there any way to do the update by connecting it to the computer?

Which update? The Droid 2 already has 2.2 Froyo on it, I'm guessing its a bug fix. Maybe you should update your roaming capabilities by dialing *228 and selecting option 2, let the process complete and after your device resets try the update again.

Tried that and it didnt work. Any other ideas?
