Other party frequently can't hear me on phone calls

[Android Central Question]

While on a call sound on my end frequently drops for a period of time. So, suddenly the person I'm speaking with wont be able to hear me at all for 5-60 seconds even though I can hear then perfectly. Eventually it comes back as good as if nothing had happened (so all or nothing, no muffled sounds). It doesnt seem to matter where I am or what kind of service I have. The problem has been persistent for the last month or two. Any ideas on what may be causing this?

Im using a prepaid Samsung SM-J337A thats relatively new.
