Otterbox Commuter vs Case-Mate Pop! 2 vs Qmadix Vibe Flex vs Qmad

I want a case that is as thin as possible, but that has at least decent shock protection. Im the kinda guy who does drop his phone every once in a while, and the otterbox commuter for my EVO 3D always did the job.

Im also trying to look at the aesthetics of course, but I want y'all s opinion on the pros and cons of each case:

The Commuter is very thin. I like it a lot due to not adding much bulk.

I'm not regretting my Commuter case for my EVO at all! If you are interested in the car dock this case is compatible if you trim off the charging port cover. Super thin, protective, easy access to the kickstand (not so much on the Defender). $20 on amazon so I would push you towards the Commuter.

Of these, I would say the case mate, but have you considered the black/matte Diztronic TPU case. I absolutely love mine. Fits the phone like a glove, protective without bulk.

They're thin but still offer practical protection and come in a nice assortment of attractive colors and they have a lifetime warranty.

I emailed them last week and they said the EVO cases are on the way. They were working on the Galaxy S 3 cases first.

I'd also consider the Diztronic or the Cruzerlite like I am using in the mean time.

So I ended up getting the Seidio Active (no kickstand version, i.e. the one that has a cutout for original kickstand) in Garnet Red color (link here: http://www.seidioonline.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=CSK3HTJET-GR). I was really tempted to get the Defender Night Sky case, because the color is a really beautiful blue, but it was simply too damn thick. I was also tempted to get the Commuter, and I would have, had they actually had some color choices...other than pink. I just didnt want another boring black case :/ But thanks everyone,, for your input. Feel free to keep this thread open as a comparative case thread of sorts.

Did you ever get the Incipio? How does it compare to the Diztronic and Cruzerlite in terms of thickness and adding bulk?

I really didn't think I'd be using a case as I liked the design and size. But after having it slip through my hands several times (thankfully with no damage) I took a second look at my wife's pink and white Otterbox Commuter on her EVOLTE and ordered the Black Commuter from Amazon. And with all the talk here, I ordered the Diztronic case too. I tried both and have settled on the Otterbox. For me the Otterbox Commuter feels the best, offers more protection, and the double click on the camera button feels just right. We both immediately removed the screen protector as it felt awful and through the years neither of us has ever scratched a screen.

I ordered the Otterbox Commuter on Thursday and am hoping to get it this week sometime. I was deciding between that and the Seidio Active w/out kickstand, but ultimately settled on the Commuter because of all the good reviews I read about it.

I have dropped my EVO 4x so far and with the Commuter case on; no damage noticed at all. Outside of the black color, I'm happy.
