Opinions? I tried it quickly in a store. I'm comparing with the Tech21 Tactical I have now which is nice but doesn't quite feel rugged enough but I don't want a lot of bulk. I think I feel more protected with a hard back.

I purchased the case today after trying it out in store. I have to say that it works really well. I love the feel that the case has in your hands. Go for it!

I just picked it up at BB today. It feels nice. I may return the tech 21 tactical. I feel this one has more grip area on the sides and thicker in the back. The tactical is nice if you want really thin but it seemed too flimsy and it was almost too easy to get it off the phone. The symmetry gives me more confidence. This is after using it only a few hours but I think I found the case I was looking for.

The side buttons also have a nice response to them.

Yes, I do like the case. I received my commuter case today and love it as well. However, I think I like the symmetry better.

I had the symmetry for 2 days on my S7, and returned it today. The case offers great protection with a small amount of added bulk to the phone, which is not to bad. The reason for returning the case was due to the feel of the hard plastic on the back. I have dry hands, so it felt very slippery to hold. I went with a more form fitting case such as the Insignia soft shell case. It doesn't offer the same protection as the symmetry, but it feels great in my hands.

Good luck with your choice...

The Defender has textured edges and back for sure grip. Trade off is minimal increase in bulk and price.

I have the symmetry on my s7 and love it. On my s6 I opted for the tech 21 tactical because it kept the phone feeling slim. Also felt like a better cover for the s6 then the tech 21 for the s7. The tactical for the s7 just doesn't feel like it will protect the s7 as good as it did for the s6.

I definitely noticed the thinning of the tactical going from s6 to s7 and was disappointing.

This is the exact same reason I returned my Tech 21 and picked up the symmetry. The tech 21 looks great but each time I pulled it out of my pocket one of the corners would be half way off the phone and wasnt as snug on the phone. I have had the symmetry in the past and picked one up for the S7. I really like the symmetry case. Solid and fits nice and snug around the phone. now if I could just find a decent screen protector!!! The Zagg had halo's and so does the Verizon flexible glass. The salesman told me it was a "shock absorber" for the edge of the screen.....and he was serious.

I am still liking my symmetry case. However using it for a while I find the buttons a bit stiff and not so easy to locate by feel quickly. I installed an app that provides a soft button to lock the screen so I don't need to press the power button much anymore. As for screen protector I am using the verizon plastic ones. I have two S7s now. For some reason the 2nd phone has significantly more halo than the first. I don't think I applied it any differently and it came from the same pack of 3. It makes me wonder if the curvature is different between the two phones, but how can that be?

I am using the symmetry case and I love the durability and feel to it. Very happy.

Lol.....shock absorbers. That's the most ridiculous thing I've heard 😂

Awesome, what do you think so far?

Like it better than the S7 edge. I never used the edge feature and was running around worrying that it's just a matter of time one before one of the edges gets smashed and breaks. Plus there are so many nicer cases available for the regular S7.

Rolling with a symmetry (white and grey was all they had at the samsung store) and a spigen curved crystal screen protector. Works well. Contemplating a clear case though.

Can you post a picture showing the Spigen screen protector on the phone and in the Symmetry case?
Does the case touch or peel up the protector at all?

It looks like it is really close or slightly touches. But 100% no peeling up on the screen protector. Sorry for low quality pics. They were taken with a samsung tablet.
