Out before the GS4 announcement?

So at MWC Samsung confirmed to be debuting their newest Galaxy on the 14th. HTC said the One will be out in March but I'm thinking they should hurry up for two reasons. 1) We wait less ! and thats great. But more importantly, release it before all things GS4 are confirmed and out to the general consumer.

I think if they wait till after they'll lose potential sales due to people deciding to wait for the GS4 if the announcement shows something incredible. Releasing it before the 14th would prevent people from doing this so lets get it HTC! Release the BEAST next week! Please =D

2nd point: if HTC does a proper job marketing, I don't see them losing significant marketshare to Samsung

I agree with the sentiment of the OP. I for one wanted an Xperia Z when that debuted, after realizing that wasn't coming soon enough my focus changed to the One..... I currently own an S3 and have NO complaints about it. I want the One but if me and a lot of other people are allowed to see the S4 than I think some will change their mind. The only hint I see is that the $100 trade in program is good until March 31 so you would think that has to run for at least a little while.

I was just talking to someone about this. Phone companies need to get their products out at least for pre order while the hype is still there from the release.
