Outlook 2010 calendar wont sync

Is outlook 2010 compatible with the droid x? My dad has the X and updated his outlook to 2010, now when he tries to sync his calendar, he is getting an error. The error says something to the effect that only 2003 and 2007 are compatible.Thanks
