Outlook and Oct Security Update

cant add gmail or iCloud to outlook after 10/1/2018 security update.

Had uninstalled Outlook and not using but decided to give it a try.

No problem setting up Gmail and iCloud accounts on Note 9, but when I tried on S9+ it would beachball hang when it tried to establish and gather data from Google. So account was not added. Same with iCloud.

Also trouble with 2FA. Again, not with Note. Where normally before yesterday and 10/1 update I could authorize and click YES on another device, now acted like I had not.

As if Outlook cant authenticate with their servers. Email works in other apps but havent tried using another email client to setup.

Want to try on my Tab S3 later. It's still on April Security.

Aqua, Gmail both work. I assume it's an Outlook problem with this security update 'broke' something.

Convoluted. Had to enable Storage permission. Had to not use the suggested Gmail accojnt that is found and suggested in two steps and add Gmail as other. Added iCloud first as well.

The suggested Gmail address automatically filled also seemed to have a space after the gmail.com

And had to switch to open in Edge to complete authorization. Might be hard without screenshots if each step.

Microsoft's stored passwords work, when they do, but something was off.

I like Edge. Was true believer in Samsung Internet but Edge is fast and works well, and it is now easier to add/edit Favorites, so if you haven't or it's been awhile...

But Outlook seems broken right now with setting up accounts but happened on Tab S3 with 8.0 and April security update.
