Outlook Meetings?

When I receive an email with a outlook meeting attachment I cannot open the attachment to see the meeting infomation or reply to the meeting. On my Blackberry the meeting information was in the email and I could reply to the meeting notice and it would automatically add it to my calendar.

I have not found any way to replicate this on the Droid. Anybody have a work around or idea?

The only thing I can think of is opening the message using outlook on your computer and add the appointment there. If your syncing with google calendar it will add the appointment to your droid. I know its more work then it was for the blackberry but I think this phone is worth the work.

That's what I do now. The real problem comes in when I am traveling for a few days and canot access my laptop outlook to see when the meeting was scheduled and whether to accept the meeting.

I really like the droid and want to keep it but there are a few email issues that are hard to work around. I wish the email also had a way to interface directly with my outlook email and allow me to choose whether I want to delete the email on my mobile or both so I can keep my email on my droid clean without deleting them on my outlook and when I do get to outlook the emails I wanted to keep on there are still there and the junk ones are gone.

I hope with all the new apps being developed someone will develop an email app to work like the blackberry.

I bet soon someone will make an "app for that" or at least hope they do.
