i have an overclocked kernel up to 1.8 on my gb rom. looking for an overclocked kernel to 1.8 for my ics rom(scotts developer rom).

Yes there are overclocked kernels but I'd imagine they're pretty specific to each ROM and version of Sense. Give this a read...read it thoroughly and Nandroid, nandroid, nandroid first.

Are you S-on or off?

[KERNEL][20.03.2012]Overclocked kernel 3.0.16 | v1.20 | OC 1836 MHz - xda-developers

Have you flashed this? I always thought this was for gb. I wonder if its actually any faster for ics roms. I know when Scott was around he was adament that the stock kernal was the best kernal to use.

Hmm, not sure if this was just for GB. Thought I read that someone was running it on a 4.0.1. and everyone was surprised this kernel even came out because of the lack of source kernel...that's why I was assuming this worked for ICS. I haven't flashed it because I'm just not into overclocking. Did it with my old Inc but I never really saw that it did much in the way of performance.

To the OP, if Scott doesn't recommend anything but the stock kernel I'd listen to his advice.
