Overclocking One V?

Hello there can some one please explain to me how to overclock my HTC one v cdma? I've tried googling it but no luck so help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Right now the only Rom that I have tested and like is suprimo v30 but if there is a better one I'm willing to give it a shot.

Is there no performance setting in system options? I have not run that ROM yet.

No it does not what Rom has that option? I'm trying to get my device to go a little bit more faster like 1.2 GHz

I'm assuming you are primoc.... I am running provision at 1401 MHz with no problems. This is one of my favorites.

Over clocked 1805 MHz franko kernel. Don't know if this is stable though.

My ROM is provision, the kernel is extracted from the ROM zip....I'm not sure which one it is right off....this is one of the best ones I've run.

If you over clock to much the phone will shutdown. You will have to do a battery pull and restart phone. I run my nexus on 1500 mhz. I wanted to see how fast it would go, that's why I bumped it to 1800. I also think that over clocking could damage the processor if u run it at high speeds all time. It has to ware out quicker but I'm not sure. I'm not an expert, I just know a little. Lol

You can check what kernel you have by looking in about phone. Some rooms won't allow you to over clock. If you go on play store you can download franko kernel app and trinity kernel app if you would like to try different ones

I like code name android but I've had problems installing it cm 10 night lies works pretty good

What kind of problems where you having with codenameandroid Rom? I couldn't find the super sick kernal that it suppose to go along with.
