I paid the $350 remainder on my Note9 to get the $750 ($600 trade and $150 samsung store credit) in incentives from BestBuy on a note 10+. Funny thing is my Note9 is a 2nd refurbished replacement through VZW and the Spen has been stuck in the phone for awhile now. Nothing i've tried has been able to depress it to release it. But oh well let someone else try!

Technically it's 800 because Bestbuy has the price for the Verizon variant discounted 50 dollars from the start

Reading the fine print on the BB offer:
Upon trade-in of an eligible device, customer will receive value toward a new device. For unlocked phones and one-time payment, this value will be a Best Buy gift card, which cannot be applied to your Note10 or Note10+ purchase.

So if you have an unlocked phone, you can't apply the trade in value to the N10's. It's only for carrier branded phones, it seems.

$800 even better!

I saw that about unlocked variants but I'm trading in on VZW.

That part is confusing. I think all of the major carriers N9s are N360U's, the U usually means unlocked. Mine was a T-Mobile phone to start with, but once a Verizon sim was inserted, it became a Verizon phone. Even has the VZW in the model number.
